With a day off on Wednesday in MLB we look to get back on a hot streak as we are still up big on the season. Thursday we have a total of nine pitchers with ERA's under 3.00 over their last three starts combined and a total of five pitchers with ERA's over 6.00 over their last three combined starts. There was one match up that stuck out and we marked them down as our POD. Mark the Brewers Down! ( -140 2.5* FREE PLAY ) For whatever reason Shaun Marcum has loved to pitch on the road as he has an ERA of 3.20 over the last three years on the road. That's much better than his home record and he's back at it again with a 2.77 ERA this year. He's been great of late posting a 1.80 ERA, but the Brewers lost 2 of 3. He should be motivated to keep that up so he can get a W and the Astros are the team to do it against. He's got a 1.80 ERA over 3 starts vs. the Astros who carry just Finish Reading this Post...

Another free pick winner on Wednesday and with just 7 games in action we did not have a free pick on Thursday. Friday we return to action with a total of ten starting pitchers with an ERA under 2.50 in their last 3 starts combined. There is one game we like more than the other and we are getting a lot of value out of our under dog play. Take King Felix & Mariners ( +135 1.5* FREE PLAY ) Why not the Mariners are 6-1 in his last 7 starts vs. the Yankees and over his last three starts in New York he has given up 1 ER in 24 innings while allowing just 11 hits. That's absolute domination something he's pretty customed to of late as he posts a 2-1 record and 0.78 ERA over his last three starts. Hernandez faces a Yankees team that's not hitting of late with just 3.29 runs per 9 vs. RHP over their last 10 games combined. Meanwhile the Mariners bullpen has picked up its pace over their last 10 games posting a 1.69 ERA to back up Felix. Yankees send Finish Reading this Post...

While we continue to dominate on our MLB play of the days now 23-9 after Monday's winner with the Cardinals we give you a little preview on tomorrow's hot and cold pitchers including a nice under dog winner. Wednesday's card has a total of nine hot pitchers with ERA's under 2.50 over their last three starts and we feature the pitcher we feel has the most value as a free play. Take Cueto & Reds ( +113) Johny Cueto has been on fire this year and has a 0.90 WHIP and 0.81 ERA over his last three starts. He'll make the day start and he and the Reds have been money during the day games this year and even going back to last year. Cueto over the last three years has a 2.73 ERA during day starts and a 2.22 ERA during his May starts. So May and Day are two positive things for Cueto. Now he has struggled vs. the Brewers and at Miller Park and that's why we are seeing him as an under dog today, but to me it's worth the risk considering the Brewers Finish Reading this Post...

Friday's card is an interesting one as we have another large group of pitchers that are having a lot of success over their last three starts. We have a total of nine hot starters with ERA's under 2.50 over their last three starts combined and we are loving one of them as our free pick for Friday. Make sure you take a look at all of our promotional packages for this weekend too! Take The Rangers -146 (2* FREE PLAY) I'll go with the Rangers who have just continued to role and they are on fire right now going 27-6 in their last 33 road games when they are favored. They are also 63-28 in their last 91 vs. a RH starter and 13-3 in their last 16 at Cleveland. The Indians have not faired well at home and are 27th with a .630 OPS at home while they have played great on the road. That sounds a lot like Colby Lewis who has not pitched well at home but on the road he's been great going back to last season. Lewis has 3-0 record Finish Reading this Post...

Wednesday we have a ton of hot pitchers with ERA's under 3.00 in their last three starts combined. None more interesting than the ever popular, overpaid, Barry Zito. Big questions about is he back or is this just a disaster waiting to happen for bettors when they start backing him. I've got the answers below. Zito & Giants -116 (2* FREE PLAY) I'm not going to say Barry Zito is back based on his first four starts, but I will say that he will give the Marlins issues on Wednesday. First of all the Marlins are among the worst vs. LHP as they are 29th in the league in OPS posting a .586 OPS with just a .183 batting average on the road vs. LHP. While the Giants face RHP and are 7th with a .749 OPS. There will be plenty more opportunities for the Giants, who also have a better bullpen than the Marlins and the main reason is Barry Zito. Zito has great numbers vs. the Marlins posting a 1.64 ERA over his last 5 starts against them. Marlins hitters post just a Finish Reading this Post...
