Wednesday's card features five total pitchers with ERA's under 3.00 in their last 5 starts that we consider to be HOT. On the flip side we have three cold pitchers. Cols pitchers are those with ERA's over 6.00 in their last 5 starts. Find out who I like for tomorrow and get Wednesday's free pick below.
Hot Starters:
Randy Wells (2-1, 34.2 IP, 1.30 ERA, 1.07 WHIP, 30K)
Take Cubs -120 (1.5 Dim FREE Early Bird pick)

Tuesday's card features many more cold pitchers than what we are used to this year with a total of six pitchers going with ERA's over 6.00 in their last 5 starts. On the other side we have just four pitchers that are going with an ERA under 3.00 and none of which are household names with the exception of Tim Lincecum.
Hot Starters:
Tommy Hunter (4-0, 31.2 IP, 2.56 ERA, 1.29 WHIP)
Hunter has been great since coming back from his injury and I believe he continues that success on Tuesday. It Finish Reading this Post...
2-Dime Play- Hot and Cold Starters | 7/8/2010
Thursday's card of hot and cold pitchers is a little thin with only three on each side of the spectrum. With just three pitchers with ERA's over 5.68 and only three pitchers with ERA's under 3.00 one of which we are backing tomorrow on our 2-Dime free pick released for free below!
Hot Starters:
Mat Latos (4-0, 33.1 IP, 1.35 ERA, 0.78 WHIP)
Padres -145 (2-Dime Free pick)
Latos has been great and he's been getting it done even on the road unlike most young pitchers as he's 5-2 with a Finish Reading this Post...
Hot and Cold Starting Pitchers | 7/7/2010
Wednesday's we have plenty of pitchers with ERA's under 3.00 in their last 5 outings for a total of six pitchers. On the other side we have 4 starters with ERA's over 6.00 in their last 5 starts. We'll break down some surprising pitchers on both sides including Jon Niese and A.J. Burnett two New York pitchers.
Hot Starters:
Jon Niese (4-0, 33.2 IP, 2.67 ERA, 1.01 WHIP)
Niese has been great for the Mets and better at home where he has a 3-1 record and 3.19 RA that is Finish Reading this Post...

Hot and Cold Pitchers Report | 6/30/2010
We switched things up tonight going with hot and cold pitchers over their last three starts instead of their last 5 starts. We came up with the same amount of pitchers on both sides of the spectrum with five hot pitchers and five cold pitchers with ERA's under 3.00 and ERA's above 6.00.
Hot Starters:
Jake Peavy (3-0, 23 IP, 0.74 WHIP, 0.78 ERA)
Is Peavy back? He's got quite the stat line and 4 quality starts in a row for the White Sox who are cruising right now winners of Finish Reading this Post...
