Betting on the NFL has become one of the most popular sports to be on in America. Actually sports betting in America has risen to a multi billion dollar industry, because whether you want to admit it or not live sports odds are everywhere from the newspaper, television, and internet. Now why is NFL the most popular sport I think it has something to do with 1 game a week that makes every single Sunday the most exciting day of the week.

For that fact it is much easier to follow a team that plays once a week than once a day. The public is actually very knowledgeable about NFL football. That is why NFL is the hardest sport to handicap as the lines are extremely sharp.



If you follow these four things while you are betting on the NFL you will you’re your bookie consistently.

1) Do not think for one moment that because a team played well the week before that they will back that up the next week. Unlike college football momentum is not a deciding factor on which team will win a game. These teams are professional and so are the players they study tape they know their opponent. A key spot is taking a team off a blow out on the road to bounce back and put up a great effort if they are home in their next game. You most likely will get excellent value in that spot from Vegas as well
