Virginia is the #5 defense in the country and are getting flat out disrespected as the #1 seed. MSU deserves a lot of credit for what they did down the stretch, but this team still has some issues on the defensive end that I don't think they can overcome against a good defensive team. Against top 30 defenses the Spartans only went 2-4 this year including loses to Illinois at home and Nebraska. Virginia's defense is legit they held every team but 4 under 71 points and any team that scored more than that they went 1-3 against. I believe Virginia can hold the Spartans under that number here tonight they have held several top tier scoring programs under that number including Duke twice, UNC, Wisconsin and NC State and when Michigan State doesn't score 71 points or more they are just 4-7 this year.
