Rhode Island/Umass- 7pm et (3** play) Rhode Island falls into a trend that is backed since the 2008 season where the over is 40-17-1 when a team is coming off a win and going under facing an opponent as a favorite pk-2.5. RI is also 26-10 in favor of the over their last 36 wednesdays while the Over is 11-5 in Umass's last 16. The underdog is 12-3 ats in the last 15 meetings and I love backing the over where the under dog has a good shot at winning and Umass does. Why not they have played right with some good teams this year despite losing. They lost on the road to Xavier by just 2 and lost to BC by just 4 in OT. So I think they can hang with a Rhode Island team in this spot. Not to mention Umass is averaging 8.4pts more per game in their last 5 games and giving up 2.4 more points on defense.
