Well lets start with the bullpens here. This has been the main issue apart from Houston's starting pitching. Their bullpen has a 6.38era compared to the Pirates 3.46era and it is the main reason why I see them winning here today. Astros SP- Moehler does not have good numbers against the Pirates. .398avg, with a 1.034OPS. Moehler has proven he can not prepare for Day games last year as he had an 8.63era comparedt o his 4.83 night era n early 4 runs higher! He had a 9.39era vs. Pitt. Even when he comes out of the game it does not look like the bullpen can help the team enough. On the other side of the mound you have the southpaw Zach Duke who has decent numbers against the Astros .268avg, .698OPS. Lee and Berkman are the only two that have any solid numbers against Duke, but 0 HR given up. He had a 2.92era vs. HOU last year in 12.1 IP. Even if Duke has an off day it looks like his bullpen will be able to keep the lead that they get from what I expect to be a bad day for Moehler........... Take Pirates -140 (3U play)
