Postby Freddy Wills » Mon Aug 01, 2011 11:47 am

Well we finished July on a very high note and we will continue to post the day’s hot and cold starters. We are 19-8 in our last 27 MLB play of the days and finished July with an overall 48-31 record for 60.8% winners and +41.04 units in profit or $4,104 for you $100 bettors! We have discounted our season end or 1 month free and posted our NFL and College Football early bird packages, Find out my records for both play of the days for my career for: )| [/size] Not only do you get a reduced price, but if you purchase the early bird package we are guaranteeing profit or 1 year of ALL sports picks are free. Now on to today’s report as we have just 11 games for Monday and there are a total of 3 cold starters and 4 hot starters and the one we are backing is just red hot an establishing himself as one of the best lefties in the game.

Dodgers -130 (2* FREE PLAY) Clayton Kershaw has been on fire he’s posted a 3-0 record pitching 21.2 innings in his last 3 starts combined with a 0.97 WHIP and 0.83 ERA. He’ll face an NL West team he has regularly dominated in the Padres who can’t get out of their own way. The Padres are 7-20 in their last 27 as a home dog and 2-12 in their last 14 vs. the NL West. Kershaw has dominated them in his last 4 starts he’s posting a 1.64 ERA and 0.99 WHIP. Padres among the leagues worst facing left handed pitching and are even worse at home posting a .240 average and 3.30 runs per 9 vs. LHP. The Dodgers also face a lefty and have struggled in the past, but we feel we have a significant edge in the pitching match up as Kershaw is on 5 days rest where he is 8-1 in his last 9.

Dodgers face Corey Luebke who had 6 innings pitch allowing just 3 base runners earlier this year vs. the Dodgers. He’ll try to repeat that when he goes up against Kershaw. The Dodgers are actually worse in OPS vs. LHP than the Padres by just .07 pts, but most of their struggles have come at home like the Padres. Fortunately they’ll be on the road today where they hit lefties better than righties. On the year the Dodgers are hitting .246 with 4.57 runs per 9 vs. LHP. Dodgers are now 9-3 in their last 12 as favorites and 19-7 in Kershaw’s last 26 vs. NL West. I also like the fact that Luebke has a 4 start period where he has pitched over 100 pitches in each start which is obviously something he’s not used to.

Other Hot Starters L3 Starts:
C.C. Sabathia (2-1, 23 IP, 0.83 WHIP, 1.57 ERA)
Ian Kennedy (3-0, 20 IP, 0.95 WHIP, 1.80 ERA)
Matt Cain (2-1, 19 IP, 1.00 WHIP, 1.89 ERA)

Cold Starter with the best chance to win has to be Trevor Cahill who is 1-2 over 16.1 IP with a 1.78 WHIP and 7.16 ERA in his last 3 starts. Cahill has dominated the Mariners and who hasn't. In his last 4 starts vs. the Mariners he posts a 1.09 ERA. The Mariners are the worst hitting team at home this season.

Other Cold Starters L3 Starts:
Jake Peavy (0-3, 16.1 IP, 1.90 WHIP, 6.61 ERA)
Carlos Zambrano (1-2, 17.1 IP, 1.67 WHIP, 6.23 ERA)
