Big East Football Odds 2013

The Big East conference is going through changes and their are rumors it could not even be around in 2014, but for now we will break down what should be an interesting conference with some additions from Conference USA. I'm excited after we only earned a bit over 5 units in our last year before earning over 177 in 2011. Many believe Louisville are the runaway favorites to win this conference and the oddsmakers certainly agree.

Louisville just stunned the Florida Gators as double digit under dogs int he Sugar Bowl. This will be their final season in the Big East and they are loaded with proven talent on offense and defense. Head coach Charlie Strong had his team ready in the bowl game and he's proved to be one of the best coaches in college. He also has the best QB in the Big East and maybe the best QB int he country in Terry Bridgewater who really showed how tough he was last year playing through injuries at a high level.

Cinci gets lucky that their 6th year QB Brendan Kay was granted another year of eligibility. Kay dazzled the Big East down the stretch when he was given the starting job which he quickly solidified on the field with a 163.1 QB rating over his 5 starts. Tommy Tuberville takes over at head coach and will also inherit one of the Big East's best offensive lines with four starters back from last year including Eric Lefeld and Austen Bujnoch whom were both All-Big East 1st team. The offense looks strong again having to only replace 3 starters overall and they should spend a lot of their time running the ball.
