Sports Betting – Taking A Look At Thursday’s Wagering Ticket

With season coming to a close, you’ll have to find something to occupy your time, and the sports betting season is starting to heat up, so get in on the action now. Thursday’s slate features a few matchups on the baseball diamond, while a big college-football game is brewing down in the SEC, and the third event in the FedEx Cup playoffs tees off as well.

MLB Betting

Rays Red Sox Odds (7:10 PM ET): Tampa Bay is hot on Boston’s heels for the wild card in the American League as the two kick off a four-game set at Fenway Park, and it begins with a matchup on the mound between the Red Sox’s Andrew Miller and the Rays’ Jeremy Hellickson, who beat Boston in his last start.

Marlins Phillies Odds (7:35 PM ET): In the second half of this doubleheader, Florida will send out Anibal Sanchez to take on Philadelphia’s Cliff Lee, who has allowed four earned runs in his last 55.2 innings of work.

Indians Rangers Odds (8:05 PM ET): Texas can’t afford to take their foot off the gas on Thursday, as they’ll counter Fausto Carmona with rookie Alexi Ogando in a matchup of unpredictable hurlers. The Rangers are three games up on Los Angeles in the American League West as of Wednesday, and like a option, they can see the wire in the horizon.

Tigers Athletics Odds (10:05 PM ET): Detroit’s Max Scherzer goes for his 15th win of the season as he leads the Tigers out in Oakland against Brandon McCarthy, who has quietly put together a solid season for the Athletics.

College Football Betting

LSU Mississippi State Odds (8:00 PM ET): The No.3 Tigers are 3-point favorites in Starkville, where they have beaten the No.25 Bulldogs seven times in their last eight trips, covering the spread seven times as well. Most love to focus on the SEC, the best conference in the country, and on Thursday night the conference has primetime football all to themselves as there is no NFL football on.

Golf Betting

BMW Championship Odds (tee times begin at 10:20 AM ET): World No.1 Luke Donald is favored in the third of four FedEx Cup events, and he’ll tee off with Jason Day and Brandt Snedeker at 11:59 AM ET. But the spotlight will be on the top three in the FedEx Cup standings at 10:53 AM ET as defending champion Dustin Johnson and Matt Kuchar will be paired with Webb Simpsons, who leads the points after winning two of his last three starts. It’s going to be an exciting weekend for golf wagering players at your favorite .
