**3.5 Dime MLB POD **Guaranteed **
Take Angels -130 (3.5-Dime MLB POD)
I have been one of the Angels biggest supporters and I thought when they took the 3-2 lead on Saturday that they had the game won and would be returning to LA with the series tied, but the Angels blew the lead to a HR to ARod.
Angels will come back here in Game 3 in my opinion. They are now back at home with the warm weather in a day start for them with a big pitching advantage in Weaver over Pettitte. The Angels are 45-15 in their last 60 Game #3's an incredible stat and they will get it done to get back in this series on Monday afternoon.
Weaver is 10-3 at home with a 2.72 ERA and he has pitched better during the day 5-1 with a 3.23 ERA compared to his 3.63 ERA at night. He has pitched well against the Yankees in the past in fact the yankees have just a .215 average off Weaver and the only two starters over .300 are Arod and Cano who are 5-15, and 6-15 respectfully. Jeter is batting .118 and as Jeter goes so do the Yankees. The Angels bullpen has been solid with the exception of the blown save by Fuentes. I don't anticipate that they will be put into a situation like this tonight with Weaver going up against Pettitte. Behind the plate will be Bill Miller and in two starts Weaver has gone 11.1 IP 10 H and 2 ER in 2009 in two wins. Angels are 4-1 with Miller behind the plate and Weaver on the mound.
Pettitte the crafty veteran has been having a great season and he has pitched better on the road, but a day start he has a 5.73 ERA and a 3-4 record. He is 0-4 in his last 4 starts @ LAA. Angles are hitting .307 collectively off Mr. Pettitte and he has a 7.88 ERA in 3 GS vs. Angels in 2009. Look for the Angels who hit lefties better at home and also score more runs during the day than they do at night to get the job done when they have to.
