2.5 ** Dog of the Day **NEW in 2011** 1-0 To Start!

Yesterday it was a walk off with the Royals as we were confident they'd have a chance to win behind Francis. Francis was great giving up just 1 ER and the Royals +126 was a great win in our debut of our **DOG OF THE DAY* plays. Today we have another going later tonight don't miss out!

Athletics -1.5 +128 (2.5* play)
While it's not your traditional dog play as the A's are favorites it is + money and to me that's dog money we have to take advantage of. The A's lost yesterday and I think they bounce back against Jason Vargas who to be honest is not even close to the same pitcher he is at home. A year ago he had an ERA 2 points higher in his road starts compared to his road starts. He gave up 5 ER in 4.1 IP in Oakland last year and the A's did add some bats in the off season that I think will click in this one. Seattle is 2-7 in their last 9 at Oakland and 5-17 in Vargas' last 22 as a road dog. The bigger reason is Brett Anderson. When healthy he is a stud he had a 2.47 ERA at home last year and in his 5 game starts in 2010 vs. the Mariners he dominated with an ERA under 1.00 giving up just 3 ER in 33.2 IP. Mariners were 28th in the league vs. LHP as far as runs scored. It took them a crazy 11.3 AB to score a run on average in 2010. You'd think they will improve on that number this year, but not today. Mariners are just 15-38 in their last 53 vs. LH starters and 18-50 as a road dog over their last 68 games.
