**Largest NCAAB Play of Year! 4.5 Dime NCAAB POD - 7PM START
What can I tell you? It has been a frustrating season already with multiple 1/2 point losses and mooses whatever you want to call it. I believed I was on the right side last night with Clemson, but they failed to covers after leading 64-62 with less than a minute to go and then having the ball 64-64 in a tie game holding for the last shot, but a turnover and a foul to send Georgia Tech to the line for easy baskets gave us a loss by a half point! Tonight, I will bounce back with my largest college basketball play of the year! It's a 4.5 Dime NCAAB POD - GUARANTEED OR 2 DAYS NCAAB FREE!
Northern Illinois -4.5 (4.5 Dime POD)
This is a mismatch and the only reason why we get this at just -4.5 is because nobody has given Northern Illinois much credit and they have been a mess on the road in the past. However, they have had some early tough road games that have prepared them for this including games at Northwestern, Illinois, Northern Iowa, and Minnesota.
There is one player on Northern Illinois that I love that was not here a year ago and that is Colorado Transfer Xavier Silas who is averaging 19ppg this year. He sat out last year and has been playing at a high level since conference schedule started.
Now NILL is 3-0 in conference and out scoring opponents +10.7ppg while Toledo is 0-3 and -18ppg. Toledo is at a disadvantage in every single statistical category. 2 of the 3 conference games are the same. The only difference is that Northern Illinois beat Western Michigan #87 in RPI while Toledo lost to Central Michigan #221 int he RPI. So already Nill has the better record and better statistics with the stronger strength of schedule in conference play.
Toledo is in a tough situation as they really haven't beaten anybody this year in their 3 wins one game against rochester College a non-division 1 team and Maryland Baltimore City a team ranked at the very back of the RPI. This Toledo team is one of the youngest team in the conference. They start 3 freshmen 1 soph and 1 Junior. They have 8 freshmen and 4 more sophomores to fill out the roster. Not a single Sr. on the team and the captain is a true freshmen. Toledo is 1-7 ATS in the last 8 as home dogs .5-6.5. The two teams have the exact same game on the road @ Ball State #262 in the RPI. Toledo lost by 28 while Northern Illinois won by 14. The biggest difference being an 18 rebound difference. Look for that to be a huge advantage and the biggest difference here will be the defense of Northern Illinois. Toledo simply won't be able to keep up with Northern Illinois unless they have an unbelievable shooting night which has not been the case in conference play shooting just 37.2 % from the field. However, Toledo does shoot the trey well in conference play at 37.8, but Northern Illinois has limited their conference opp to 25% shooting while Toledo is giving up 40.7% from beyond the arch on defense in conference.
Okay well Toledo won this game last year, but as I said before add in Xavier Silas, and take away all the scorers including Amos and Kent from Toledo who made up 46% of the scoring in their win last year and I think Northern Illinois has to want to win this conference game and I believe they will.
