I have been on an awful run with college picks as of late and I now stand at .500 on my POD's. It went from 5 straight 1/2-1 point losses to just getting killed and now I am determined to rebound in a big way. Wisconsin is 5-0 straight up in their last 5 match ups at home vs. Michigan State. Wisconsin already has an impressive resume of teams they have beaten at home including Duke, Marquette, Ohio State, Purdue, and Michigan.

Wisconsin already faced Michigan State and now they will play with revenge as they lost the first match up in Michigan by 7 points. Wisconsin had one of their worst shooting games shooting just 33.3% while they average 47.1% at home and Michigan State gives up 44.4% on the road so it's bound to improve. They also had -18 FTA on the road against Mich State yet they are +6.7 FTA @ hom while Mich State is just +2.6 FTA so that has to improve considerably I would think. Along with the rebounding where they were -15 and they are +6.3 rebound margin at home along with 35.5% from three where they shot just 21.7% from three. Add in the improvements they see defensively at home and turnovers and you will see Wisconsin as a tough team to beat at home as their record supports at 12-0.

The home team is 9-2 ATS in their last 11 meetings and the favorite is 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings. Michigan State has seen the revenge factor up close with three teams in the Big Ten that they have faced twice this season. Now on average the first game from the second game Michigan State was -9.67pts from the first game to the 2nd game. The three opponents were all less than what Wisconsin in. The loss of Jon Leure has been an issue for many people thinking of putting their money on this game. He did have 21 points and 7 rebounds in the first match up. I really don't see it as an issue that will impact the game. If it was a huge impact Wisconsin would NOT be favorites here tonight. I really like the play regardless as they go with an extra guard in the lineup.
