Last night we won on our POD runner up rather easily with Elon +11.5. Elon did lose the game but lost by just 3. We really like tonight's card to go 2-0 and possibly 3-0 when you add in our free pick. Don't miss out on the POD going at 9:05pm.

It does seem a little weird that whenever we have these match ups on ESPN the home team is usually favored despite a lower ranking. All the public usually rushes to that away team with the higher ranking. Tonight we have a bit of the opposite with West Virginia being the favor and with the higher ranking. Pitt also has revenge and is 13-1 at home and his quality conference wins over the likes of Syracuse and Uconn yet they are dogs in their home building???? Hmm I think as we get closer to game time you will continue to see the public jump on Pitt but I just can't.

I won't even really bring up the West Virginia win at home by 19 points because it was a 2 point game with 10 minutes to go in the 2nd half. What I will bring up is West Virginia is out scoring the conference by nearly 10 points while Pitt is at +3.4 ppg. The biggest advantages for West Virginia are from the perimeter and rebounds. I don't really look too much into that home record as Louisville and Georgetown were there only real challenges and they lost to 8 to Gtown and went to OT with Louisville. West Virginia is better than both of those teams and are a more desperate team after losing to Nova on their home court. I really like West Virginia and they have the experience on this roster to win @ Pitt as they won 74-60 last year. That was when Pitt had Fields, Young and Blair. Those three are gone and West Virginia has their stars back and their defense is just as good holding Pitt to 50 points in the first match up. You can basically bank on the Mountaineers winning the game if they score more than 70 points which I think they will do here tonight.
