Public is on Tech at 73% and the line has not moved at all. I started wondering at first why this team was favored to begin with. Well they are starting to play much better basketball as of late and they do play better defense than TN Tech which is giving up 48.9% shooting on the road this season and are getting out scored by an average of 10.4 ppg on the road. They struggle turning the ball over 4.3 times more than opponents on the road and that's good news for Ten State which should be able to be + in the turnover margin.

In the first match up between these teams TN Tech won 61-56 @ home which they put together an 11-5 run to close out the game after TN State led by 1 late. The difference in the game was clear TN State shot just 31.5% and 33% from three and even more importantly they were just 14-23 from the FT line way below their season averages. TN State is second in the league in 3 point baskets made and are shooting 36.7% in conference play. They are shooting 40.4% from the field at home which isn't all that great, but considering they shot 31.5% in the last match up and TN Tech's defense is 2% worse on the road at an awful 48.9% I would say there is a great chance that they will shoot better here today. TN State had a huge advantage in second opportunities as they out rebounded them offensively by 6 baskets. TN Tech is one of the worst in conference when it comes to rebounding the ball and especially offensive rebounds. Look for that to play a key role in tonight's game.

Finally TN State was -3 turnovers in the match up before.. I expect that to change as well as they are +1 at home and TN Tech is an incredible -2.7 in conference play and -4.3 on the road this year. TN State will have the revenge going and they really have their confidence going right now after back to back wins and an impressive victory over Austin Peay in their last game.
