Last night the Heat simply did not show up against the worst defensive team in the league missed layups and awful shots from Beasley left me scratching my head. Tonight I don't feel like my POD play will have anyone scratching their head. I believe it's a winner and it comes in the big game of the night and it's guaranteed!

Really think the Mavericks have a lot to prove that they belong in the talk of who can contend with the Lakers. Let's be honest the Mavericks have been awful at home, but it has certainly turned around as of late with the addition of Brendan Haywood and Carun Butler the defense has stepped it up to another level. I think that will help when it comes to defending the Lakers who have been playing well of late on 0 days rest 4-1 in their last 5, but will struggle here tonight. The Lakers don't know how Kobe is going to be on 0 days rest coming off an injury and playing 40+ minutes. Meanwhile two other key starters put in nearly 42 minutes in Artest and Gasol. I think the Mavericks are ready and their Arena will be jacked for this game. Lakers are 0-4 in their last 4 games as an under dog .5-4.5.
