Not a lot of value on this play, but today's card is not a favorite of mine. I still am really confident though as Halladay has an 1.12 ERA in his last 3 starts and usually bounces back in a big way off a sub par start. Despite giving up just 1 ER in his last start he gave up 10 hits. The Last time he gave up 10 hits this year he bounced back with a 3 hit shut out. In his two starts he went 15 IP gave up 14 hits and 1 ER while striking out 16.

Zach Duke will oppose Halladay and he's been awful on the road with a 7.41 ERA. In his last two starts vs. the Pirates and gave up 9 ER in 14 IP. The Phillies continue to hit and in their last 5 the Phillies .329 an 8.35 runs per 9 vs. LHP with a bullpen with a 1.69 ERA. Pit on the other hand .194 average witha 3.29 run per 9 average vs. RHP. L10 it gets worst with a 2.70 runs per 9 and a .197 average. Now they must go up against the best pitcher in the NL.

Pit is 5-24 in their last 29 raod vs. a team with a winning record while Philly is 4-1 in their last 5 vs. a LH starter. Pirates 7-21 in their last 28 games in Philly. 82% of the Pirates losses have been by more than 1 run while the Phillies have 83% of their wins by 1+ run.
