I'm still skeptical on Zito and his inability to have control on a consistent basis worries me especially with tonight's umpire who is known to have a large strike zone. The Tigers and Justin Verlander showed after the All Star break having 5 days off that it was not an issue as they scored 7 runs. Verlander is on 7 days of rest and actually had 11 days of rest in a start this year when he visited Baltimore after the All star break and went 8 IP giving up 0 ER. I think the Giants will be competitive in this series but they like coming back from behind and I think they will drop game 1.
