Brandon McCarthy has not pitched as bad as his ERA says in fact he has a 3.85 xFIP, but his .396 BABIP and 54.6 LOB % has really hurt him. He'll face off against Tim Lincecum who has a 6.00 ERA in his last 5 starts at Chase Field. Lincecum is allowing 5.16 BB/9 on the season and is lucky to have an ERA under 4 right now. He'll face the Diamondbacks who are 7th in OPS vs. RHP and are backed by a better bullpen which is really rested after pitching a combined 3 innings over the last 2 games.
