4-Dime MLB POD w/2-Dime Oddsline Error - **36-18 L54 MLB POD
Grab today's POD as we have gone 2-1 over the last three days and now are 36-18 in our last 54. Today's POD is guaranteed or 1 day is free for MLB and it comes with a 2-Dime bonus that will also start early at 1:10pm!
Mets -105 (4-Dime POD)
Jon Neise is feeling like he needs to rebound after being handed a 10-0 lead in his last game he collapsed after the rain delay and couldn't make it through 5 innings to get the win. However, it had more to do with him sitting for more than an hour. The Tigers didn't even bring Verlander back from the rain delay. With that said and reading the quotes Niese has had to say I think he's looking forward to the challenge of another start. Even with the bad inning Niese still has a 1.02 WHIP in his last three starts. He'll go up against Baker who has one career start vs. the Mets, but more importantly Baker is just 1-4 away from home with a 5.93 ERA and he also has a 4.97 day ERA.
The Twins have a lefty heavy line up and Niese is a left handed pitcher that will give the lefties trouble. Twins just .262 with 3.61 runs per 9 vs. LHP and that's with their DH. Mets have been hitting and will continue in my opinion at home here today. They are 10-3 in their last 13 vs. RH starter while the Twins are only 16-36 in their last 52 road games vs. a LH starter and 5-13 overall in their last 18 as a road dog.
Blue Jays +100 (2-dIME BONUS)
Jays have enjoyed success agaisnt Moyer as he's given up 20 ER in his last 21 IP against the Blue Jays dating back to 2007. The Jays combined have 145 AB with a .345 average and a 1.004 OPS. I think Moyer is due for a bad start after back to back brilliance of 8 IP and 2 or less ER. This will only be his 2nd day start of the year and I believe it will create problems against a talented Blue Jays line up. Brett Cecil has been on the rise this year and after two poor outings I think he bounces back at home to pitch a solid game against the Phillies who don't hit lefties as well as righties.
