2.2* Free Monday Night Football Play #Broncos vs. #Raiders
Broncos/Raiders U50 2.2* Free Play
Initially I leaned towards the Raiders because this is a division game, but I just could not back them without seeing more from Pryor and Manning and the Denver offense has been outstanding. Oakland actually is ranked #1 in sack % so that should worry Peyton Manning a little bit who is playing without his starting LT for the rest of the year. Manning is smart and he'll use this game to work on the running game because there are a lot of question marks going on there. Oakland is 9th vs. the run but on the road they allowed 4.9 ypc this season to the Colts and Manning knows he can get success and confidence out of the running backs tonight. With that said I think the clock ticks and Denver will probably still put up 30+ points, but Oakland won't score more than 2 TD's.
The Raiders rely on the run they are 2nd in rushing play % but the Broncos have been great dating back to last year against the run. There are new faces in the front 7 for Denver but they can still stop the run ranked #1 so far this year after facing the Giants and the Ravens. Oakland could not get a running game going last year and their offenses struggle in the red zone. It also does not help to play a team that knows you very well and vice versa. There is a reason why since Peyton Manning has taken over at QB the under is still 6-2-1 vs. the AFC West and the Under for Oakland in the last 6 vs. the AFC West is 5-1. Oakland is actually under the total 31-15 in their last 46 road games vs. a wining team. I expect Oakland to surprise people a little bit tonight, but it's easy to see them losing by 17 points. I'd play the under, but I'm not playing it huge.
