Hard not to back the Angels in this spot today as they have been hitting the ball and you really can't argue with Jerred Weaver who has a 1.96 ERA in his home starts. He 20 K' in two home starts vs. the Rangers last year over 14.1 IP and 2 wins and I'll back him to shut down or at least quiet a very hot Rangers team. Rangers throw Colby Lewis up there who to be honest has been pitching over his head with a 3.03 ERA on the season. I think it's starting to catch up wtih him and the Angels are the last team he wants to face as he went just 4.1 IP giving up 7 hits and 7 ER in his start against them this season.

Angels have a .259 average while scoring 6.57 runs per 9 vs. LHP in their last 10 games combined and look to beat Colby who is 2-6 in his last 8 vs. a team with a winning record. Angels meanwhile are 40-18 in their last 58 home games with Weaver on the hill.
