Wyoming is supposed to be improving in Craig Bohl’s third year as head coach and they return 18 starters with some real talent at the skill position led by RB Brian Hill. They open up at home against a MAC team. The Mountain West has typically been better than the MAC, but that’s not the reason I’m backing Wyoming here in this spot.

Northern Illinois, a team in the MAC that has dominated over the last 6 years has the worst recruiting in the MAC ranked 12th overall. They have started to get worse and worse and were embarrassed in their bowl game. They return 13 starters, but lose 2 1st team MAC defensive players. They lose their top 2 offensive lineman and this is a tough road game playing at elevation of over 7,000 feet. Wyoming has gone 9-9 at home in their last 18 while going 2-16 on the road.
