Tigers have been in a slump for a while now when Magglio ORdonez went on the DL, but I think they meet a team in a similar position and I'm going more off the pitching match up of Weaver vs. Verlander. Weaver is among my favorites to back, but in this spot on the road I do not like him as he's got a 6.52 ERA in his career vs. the Angels including 6 ER in 11.2 IP this year. If the Tigers get to the bullpen early again on him it will be a long night for the Angels who were just swept by the Orioles.

Verlander comes in with a 2.65 ERA at home and had a 8.1 IP 3 hits 1 ER vs. the Angels in his last start another home win for him. IN his last 2 home starts he's given up 1 ER to the Angels on 16.1 IP and just 7 hits. LA has struggled with the bats just like the Tigers have, but the Tigers have the pitching edge here and the bullpen at home where they post a 3.41 ERA while the Angels are 5.12. Add in that the Tigers get last at bats in this game and it looks good for the Tigers in my opinion. Angels just 3-14 in their last 17 road games while the going 1-7 in their last 8 vs. RH starter. Detroit is 28-4 at home with Verlander on the mound facing a losing team. LA 0-5 in their last 5 @ Detroit.

Cardinals -115 (2-Dime OE)
Wainwright holding a lot of value here and it's because the line drops. Usually I'm on the other side, but I just can't pass this up as the Marlins Nolasco has struggled against the Cardinals in his career wtih 16 ER in 22 IP over 4 starts allowing 35 hits. Cards have a .346 average against Nolasco with nearly 1.000 OPS. Cards are 10-1 in WAinwright's last 11 road games vs. a losing team. He's got a career 2.83 ERA vs. the Marlins as a starter.
