Another POD loss today blown by the closer in the 9th. This has been unreal with 4 bad losses in our last 5 all should have been winners and we should be standing at 18-3 in our last 21 MLB POD's! Today was crazy with Huston Street closing the game with a 5-3 lead pegging Ricky Weeks on a 1-2 count to load the bases and then a pop up to the 2nd baseman that was mis judged. You can't make this stuff up!

I love the Mets here tonight as Pelfrey looked good in his last start throwing a gem as the Mets continue to win with pitching. I expect nothing else here tonight from Pelfrey who in his last 6 home starts vs. the Phillies is 4-2 with a 2.61 ERA over 38 innings pitched. He'll make the night start where he has been much better this year compared to his day starts. Kendrick has a 4.11 ERA on the road and a 4.58 ERA on the road. I believe the Mets are due to start swinging the bats as Beltran's swings have looked much better over the last few days.
