The public continues to pour in on the Saints.  Is betting on Monday night chasing after Sunday’s losses this easy for the public? I think not.  The 49ers have had a lot of time to think about what they did last Sunday in Seattle which is arguably one of the more difficult places to play on the West Coast.  Bottom line I like the way the Niners match up in this game and it really reminds me of their Monday night match up a year ago where they were +4 under dogs against the Cardinals.  They went out and dominated and won 24-9.  While they may not hold the Saints to 9 points, they may be able to hold them under 20 points.  The Niners at home last year gave up just 6 points per game in their last 4 home games.  They held many high flying passing games in check including the Cardinals twice and the Texans on the road to 24 and the colts on the road to 18 points.  Holding the Colts to 18 points in their home dome is quite an accomplishment.  I just have more confidence in Singletary and I believe the offense clicks as there were relay issues in the plays and it seemed as though Alex Smith may have had to do most of the play calling not good as he looked over whelmed.  Here I think the 49ers play in a close game decided by a field goal.
