Excellent value here with Billingsley who has struggled as of late, but gets a great opportunity here today against the Reds to redeem himself. This is the perfect match up for him in my opinion because in three starts the Reds have just a .116 average off the 24 year old RHP. Billingslea who has a career 0.99ERA vs. the Reds with 19 strike outs in 18.1IP allowing just 15H should be primed to dominate here tonight.

On the other hand we have Arroyo who is coming off two shutoff performances, but I"m not buying his complete game against the Mets as that has been the trend as of late. If you take his 3 previous starts on the road you've got 5, 6, and 6ER performances something I think will happen tonight. Since Manny's return the Dodgers have started to hit RHP, but Manny is questionable tonight.. I believe he plays regardless but even if he doesn't you must know that he's never faced Arroyo yet the team still carries a .360 average in 200 AB including Juan Pierre with big numbers. The Dodgers have been hitting RHP for a while 8-2 in their last 10 starts vs. RH starters and they are averaging 7.23 R/9 in last 10 games vs. RHP with a .303 average. I just think Arroyo is due for a let down here against the Dodgers and I like the spot for Billingsley. The Reds are not the same team that was strong on the road to start the year they have gotten swept twice since then and they are 2-7 in their last 9 road games. They are 1-6 L7 with Arroyo as a dog and 5-22 L27 meetings with the Dodgers. Without Manny or with him this one should be a comfortable win for the Dodgers.
