**Tuesday's 4-Dime NCAAB POD - 5-1 This Year on NCAAB POD's!
Yesterday I continued my run in College Basketball now standing at 5-1 on NCAAB POD's for the season. It was a 9 point win for +4.5 under dogs Cincinatti. Today I have another under dog I feel is going to win the game out right. I'm coming back strong with another winner here tonight starting at 7pm et. You won't want to miss out on this game as it's another POD and underdog winner! Guaranteed or 1 Day NCAAB free Only $20!
Take Virginia +3 @ -105 5DIMES (4-dime ncaab pod)
Early in the season I can compare two teams facing off that have already played the same team in Oral Roberts. Stanford lost 81-83 and did not play much defense giving up 49.2 FG% and were out rebounded 38-26. Virgnia on the other hand won 76-55 and forced Oral Roberts to shoot just 32.1% from the field and out rebounded them 38-31.
Defense is a big thing that Virginia wants to improve this year as they gave up 72.5 ppg in the ACC a year ago. Granted they played in one of the more challenging conferences, but they return all 5 of their starters and 91% of their offense including freshmen rookie of the year Guard Landesburg who averaged 16.6 ppg a year ago. The under rated Scott at Forward averaged 10.3 ppg and rpg a year ago has really started the season well. The biggest difference is 1st year head coach Tony Bennet who is known for his defense exactly what Virgnia needs. He led Washington State to the best defense in the nation a year ago giving up just 55.4ppg and it has already started to translate over as Virginia has held last two opponents under 34% shooting. Granted those numbers will go up once he gets into ACC play, but tonight he will face a Stanford team he's familiar with from his time in the PAC-10 as Washington State's head coach.
Stanford departs three Sr. starters that accounted for 36.4 % of their points. Sr. Fields and Green the lone returning starters are the keys to the season in what will likely be a struggle in the PAC-10 for them. Josh Owens already out was supposed to start down low, and head coach Dawkins already said, "we don't have a lot of depth." Virgnia is flying under the radar here and they are playing physical basketball and solid defense. I expect that to continue as under dogs on a neutral court in the Cancun Challenge. A more experienced team vs. a team with many unknowns. Also note for Virgnia is Spurlocks the freshmen will make an impact before the end of the year he's a top 200 prospect at guard and should help the team, but as of right now his time is limited.
