Today's match up between Chris Rusin and Jeremy Hellickson is pretty even, but I get a slight edge to Hellickson who is in his own ball park. Arizona is 9th in OPS vs. south paws this year and Rusin is off back to back quality starts, but that usually means he come back to earth a bit especially on 4 days rest and on the road where he posts an ERA over 5. Hellickson's ERA is not impressive at 5.58, but he's been a bit unlucky and the Rockies truly struggle to hit on the road. Hellickson's raw stats suggest his ERA should be in the low 4's or high 3's and I like taking him coming off a bad start. The Diamondbacks bullpen is also about a run better than Colorado who are also 22-59 in their last 81 games as a road dog.
