I'm taking Washington here despite their loss last week SU & ATS. Their game against the heavily favored Dolphins was much closer than it appeared and the Rams are comign off a huge upset as a home dog. Over the last 5 seasons in the NFL, teams of an upset the previous week as a home dog are 42-80 ATS the next week on the road. The Rams just have not been a good team on the road and I like the Redskins depth on the defensive line. The Rams edge on the defensive line just isn't there as much on the road and I have major questions about a team that blows a 24-13 lead at home by giving up 18 points. We actually had the Rams as our POD and felt lucky to win last week despite dominating early as the Rams had to score a TD late to force OT where they eventually won.

This is more of a fade with Carolina than anything in my opinion as I didn't think Cam Newton and the Panthers looked good against the Jaguars. I actually played the Jags last week, but they looked worse and the Panthers won the turnover battle 3-1 to help secure the win. Jacksonville actually out gained Carolina so I have no confidence even at home that this team can win I expect the Texans to be in this one with a great chance late to pull off the upset.
