Tough spot for both teams with two aces on the mound. Yes, I consider Randy Wells an ace for the Cubs. He's been outstanding with a 2.74 ERA in his last 3 starts. He goes up vs. Carpenter who is the favorite and the public has sided with the Cardinals and Chris Carpenter, but you see the line has dropped in favor of the Cubs. I've used this strategy before and I believe it's because Vegas is expecting a solid outing from Wells rather than expecting a bad outing from Carpenter since he dominated them a year ago.

The under for the CArdinals is 10-2 in their last 12 as favorites, 35-16 in their last 51 following a win. Cubs are under in 20-2-4 of their last 26 vs. a winning team as well as 23-7-2 in their last 32 vs. a starter with a whip under 1.15. Neither one of these teams have really hit the ball consistently and I think the day game will be another reason why they struggle.
