Bumgarner has been great for the Giants but he'll have to be nearly perfect the way the Giants have been hitting lately. It'll be hard to do that as the Cubs have hit, and hit lefties they do extremely well on teh season they have a .287 average and 5.05 runs per 9 vs. LHP. At home those stats are even better .292/5.50. In their last 10 they are scoring 4.79 runs per 9 vs. LHP while the Giants are at just 3.03 runs per 9 vs. RHP. Dempster has been great as of late with a 1.45 ERA over his last 3 starts and he's got a 3.08 ERA during night starts and a 10-4 record. IN his last 3 starts vs. the Giants he's 3-0 with 20.2 IP 20hits and 5 ER. Giants scored 0 runs again last night as of the 9th inning that I'm watching. Bumgarner has already pitched vs. the Cubs and it was one of the few games he struggled going just 5.2 iP giving up 9 hits and 3 ER.
