Angels are facing a weak hitting team with their ace on the hill in Dan haren who has a 1.32 ERA in his last 6 starts. He has not gotten much run support but I think that changes here today as LA has out scored The A's 26-8 this year and have won the last 4 in LA. Oakland starts Braden who is 2-5 with a 4.82 ERA in 7 starts vs. the Angels. Angels have a .297 average in 158 AB. Braden is coming off a brilliant performance with 8 innings of 1 hit ball. Remember after he pitched his "perfect game" he struggled for some time. IN his 4 previous starts to his masterful game last week he had a 6.23 ERA. I'm not buying into Braden here as he hasn't been able to go deep into games which is a major issues as of late with the Athletics.

A's bullpen last 10 games have a 7.11 ERA and the Angels have a 1.97 and that'll be the difference in a close game with the home team with the better bullpen getting the edge. A's just 18-38 in their last 56 as a road dog.
