Today's POD is on the Rangers and Rays under 9 runs. With a pitching match up of Feldman vs. Price I'm liking this play a lot.

Feldman has only gone 8-1 with a 3.50 ERA on the road this year and the Rangers are 10-1 in his last 11 road starts overall. Feldman has two quality starts at home in Texas against the Rays going 13 innings giving up 8H 6BB and 3 ER. These teams will meet in another playoff like atmospher and the Rangers know they can't get swept here which will allow Feldman to go out there and really come up with a big performance. He's following a non-quality start in his last so that gives him some extra motivation as well as he has bounced back all year from his non-qs starts. The Rays are hitting just .161 off Feldman over his career and in their last 10 they are scoring just 4.76 Runs per 9 innings with a .278avg vs. RHP. Texas on the other hand will have to face David Price.

Price has a 6-1 record with a 2.82 ERA at home and is a completely different pitcher at home than he is on the road as he did give up 6 ER to the Rangers at TExas in 1.1 IP. Note that the Rangers struggle against LHP particularly on the road as they are Under the total 18-5 in their last 23 road games vs. LH starter. I'm expecting much of the same for today as Price is no slouch. The under is 7-2-1 in the last 10 meetings and both pitchers have ERA is the low 3's for their day starts.
