4.5 Dime MLB POD (24-7 L31 MLB POD's!) Guaranteed!

MLB Play of the Days (POD's):
102-47 (68.4%) +147.98 units of profit! (+$147,980)[/center]

Take Dodgers -140 (4.5 Dime POD 1-5 scale)
Not a lot of value out there although I'll be back with a POD runner up with + juice! I'm going with what I think is as close to a sure thing as possible when the Dodgers host the Giants in a pitching duel of Johnathan Sanchez vs. Vincente Padilla.

Sanchez has just been owned by the Dodgers over his career. Six starters have averages well over .300 and Juan Pierre off the bench also has an average well over .300. Dodgers are a LHP hitting team. I love taking that angle RH vs. LH etc. The Dodgers are 25-12 in their last 37 vs. LH starter at home. Giants are 0-6 when Sanchez pitches vs. Dodgers and they are 4-17 in his last 21 starts when he pitches on the road. It's not that he's pitched poorly on the road it's that he gets no run support. Sanchez though has struggled with his control and the Dodgers are a patient bunch ranked #7 in the league in BB's. Sanchez in 4 starts vs. Dodgers this year has 19.1 IP with a 6.12 ERA while walking 13 batters. His worst start came on the road where he'll be tonight. He has pitched well on the road but facing the Dodgers in his last start proved that no matter how well he is pitching he still can not handle the Dodgers. I'm just too confident and don't think the Dodgers don't want this one. They'll be playing for two things. Keeping the Giants and their stud starting pitchers out of the post season and for home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

Dodgers will send Vincente Padilla to the mound to get the win for them. Padilla has been the spark they needed when they got him off waivers. He's 3-0 with a 2.01 ERA in 4 starts with the Dodgers. He already faced the Giants and he went 6 innings giving up 3 hits and 0 ER. He's a crafty veteran who will get the job done here tongiht again. Giants hit the ball against the Rockies, but here coming on the road on an off day they will struggle as they are 0-6 in their last 6 games following an off day. Backing up Padilla you can find a 2.68 BP ERA at home this year one of the best bullpens in the league!
