My POD's really need a break here as I'm not on the right games at all they are 1 run losers, but my handicapping is telling me they are easy winners! However, I still love the Rays here despite their awful play on the road! The Rangers just are not right. Since they have fallen out of the playoff race they kind of have just fallen back to earth. Injuries were the main reason in my opinion and now they go with their veteran Millwood vs. the Rays.

Millwood has struggled the last two years in September. 6.10 ERA in 08, and 5.40 ERA in 09. He's starting to struggle here as well he's got a 5.74 ERA in his last three starts. However, he is still posting a 3.21 ERA at home, but in his last 2 home starts he's given up 10 ER in 9.1 innings! He has not been the same pitcher as he was in the first half, and the innings on his arm are starting to get to him. He's got an ERA of 4.61 in the 2nd half more than a run higher than the 1st half. Rangers are 4-12 in their last 16 Saturday games. 1-11 in Millwoods last 12 Saturday starts. Sounds like they are having a good time after the game on Friday nights.. Just Kidding. Millwood also has not been able to perform well as a dog just 1-5 in his last 6.

Garza will go for the Rays the 25 year old has been pitching well as of late with a 1.25 ERA in his last 3 with nothing to show for it. If you know anything about Garza is he is ultra competitive. Pitching well and going 1-2 is not really a great feeling so I expect Garza to be on top of his game. He will get some rest from Michael Young if he continues to sit out with the hamstring as Young is 5-16 vs. Garza. Rangers overall have a collective average of .236. In his last start vs. Texas he struck out 7 in 7IP on 3 ER and only 6 hits and 0BB.

Rangers bullpen has also struggled with a 6.59 ERA in its last three and I just do not see the Rangers coming out and getting this game.
