Been a few days since I released a NCAAB POD, but here it is and I've been waiting for this one for quite a while. Xavier will play their first true road game agaisnt a talented Kansas State team. Xavier is without 3 starters from last year's Sweet Sixteen team as well as their head coach who is now coaching at Arizona. Xavier also has a big game on deck with Cincinnati waiting for them and they may be over looking this Kansas State team that has two talented guards. Xavier has struggled against teams with quality guards when they lost to Baylor and Marquette on neutral court.

Tonight G- Jacob Pullen the leader and best player on this team with 18.5 ppg will have all the motivation in the world. He has a lot in revenge to their New Year's loss 101-77 to Xavier in 2007. Pullen a freshmen at the time remembers it big time and is quoted as saying, ""It's a real emotional game for me because I really want to beat them by a lot. It's nothing against the new coach — I just don't like Xavier." Now that is just one player but Kansas State has already proven that they can play and win games they have CT transfer Curtis Kelly playing solid with 11ppg and 7rpg thus far and a solid front court along Pullen is Clemente averaging 14.8ppg. Look Kansas State and a pumped up home crowd to really have an impact on how Xavier plays.
