**3.5 Dime NCAAB POD **15-12 ats THIS YEAR! on ESPNU Guarant
Frustrating last two days with Miss -5 being a loser as they won the game but by only 4. Then last night we had Arizona +2.5 and they led the game late including 64-60 with less than a minute to play. However, Oregon State tied the game 64-64 and with 14 seconds left Oregon State had the ball back. A two point basket gets us the win, but somehow Oregon State hits a three to win 67-64. We could easily be sitting at 17-10 for our NCAAB POD's. Tonight we will try to win again with a 3.5 Dime selection guaranteed!
Ill Chicago -108 (3.5 Dime POD)
Frustrating night last night in college hoops! Tonight the card is thin and I like the game out of the Horizon league conference between two in state rivals. Illinois Chicago will play at home needing a conference win very badly to get back in the race. Loyolla Chicago a team picked to finish last in the conference have lost two conference road games in a row and now face Illinois Chicago team that has faced a considerably more challenging schedule. Illinois Chicago has beaten Loy 5 straight times and are 8-0 ATS in the last 8 meetings. They are 5-2 at home playing much better here than they are on the road. Tonight they get an opportunity to play a conference team that is at the same level they are and they will need a win to move ahead of them in the standings. That coming in front of a national audience will provide some extra motivation.
Illinois Chicago is playing better ball and that's due to Jeremy Buttell who is averaging 26.5 ppg and 10 rebounds per game and gives the Flames a second option to Robo Kreps who is probably the biggest key in the game. In UIC's 5 wins he averages 22.2 ppg and in the losses he averages just 11.5ppg and 20% from the field. Now these teams are not going to light it up shooting, and both play a more conservative half court style of basketball getting 50-56 shots a game. The defenses are pretty much even, while Loyolla Chi has a better offense thus far, but take note the non-conference schedule has been a joke compared to Ill Chicago. Rebounding has gone to Illinois Chicago the last 5 match ups considerably and although it's been a struggle for them this year I think they can take advantage against Loyolla. Parlay that with the fact that this team has a major advantage in FT% shooting and Turnovers and I think they win this game at home in a big conference game. After all Ill Chi forced Cleveland State into 21 turnovers while Loyolla only forced 8. Same thing went against Youngstown State Loyolla forced 7 and Ill Chicago forced 14. They should be able to take advantage of that here tonight.
