This is an easy play for me despite Miss State's pre season expectations as they have not played up to them. They are just 3-3 on the road while Vandy is 10-0 at home and has the better conference record, statistics and stronger strength of schedule inside the conference.

Listen Vandy has played an average conference RPI of 62 while Miss State has an average 112. Big difference and add in the fact that Vandy played 4 road and 2 home and Miss State played 4 home and 2 road you can really dig into these stats and see them as being more impressive from Vandy's perspective.

Bottom line Vandy will have much too much offense for Miss State who is averaging 38.9% from the field compared to Vandy's 51.1% inside the conference. Now Vanderbilt has struggled defensively at times, but they improve on that considerably when they play at home. I really don't think Miss State will have an answer for the inside out game of Aj Ogilvy and Jermaine Beal. Look for Varnadu who plays bigger than he is to take care of Ogilvy, but Beal will come up with a big game outside as Vanderbilt cruises to an easy victory.
