How big is this game? - Arkansas wins and they're likely playing for the BCS Championship. LSU is at home though and this should be a very tough game. I have no doubt LSU takes this game, but Arkansas can do something that LSU has not seen very often this year and that’s pass the ball. Tyler Wilson is having a solid year and he’s got a core of WR that LSU has not seen. When the LSU defense has seen a passing team in Oregon’s Darron Thomas he threw for 240 yards and West Virginia’s Geno Smith threw for 463 yards and 2 TD’s. Look I don’t expect themt to win, but LSU won’t do anything stupid as theon’t do anything stupid as the had 5 guys rush for over 50 yards a week ago. That’s likely what they’ll spend their time on offense doing as Arkansas is not very good stopping the run allowing 5.yards per carry on the road. That should shorten the game quite a bit and Arkansas is too good to be shut down on offense so I expect a 17-10 24-14 type game. Even if Ark gets down 14 points Arkansas has the offense to come back and cover with a back door cover. Arkansas is 21-5 ATS in their last 26 games in November and 15-6 ATS in their last 21 vs. a winning team while LSU is 5-13 ATS in their last 18 as home favorites 10.5+. They are not an offensive team they run the ball first and their QB’s manage points. Arkansas does not turn the ball over so don’t expect to see points on turnovers.
