South Carolina was looking like the surprise of the SEC a year ago and in game Auburn with 1 conference win and beat the Gamecocks in their own building. Now South Carolina gets to return the favor after an 0-3 conference start. They have played arguably the 3 best teams in the SEC so I do not think it's in any way a showing of how good or bad this team is. Auburn has been extremely challenged to score points of late shooting just 34.6 % in their last 5 games and 35pts total vs. Vanderbilt. Now that South Carolina has their PG back they are able to out score teams and they have 3 extra days of preparation for a "must win" type game. I don't know any other reason why a South Carolina team that's almost 100 points behind of Auburn in RPI would be favored on the road other than they should win this game.
