the West Coast Conference has gotten closer in years with St. mary's and Portland starting to improve their programs. However, Gonzaga still owns it, and they will try to continue that dominance here tonight against St. Mary's. Zaga is likely in regardless, but St. Mary's won't be. Could we see St. Mary's pull up the upset or does Gonzaga roll like they normally do? It's a 4.5 Dime NCAAB POD!

Really like this play Zaga beat St. Mary's by 7 and 19 in the regular season and each time it was by a different way. They held St. Mary's to 37.3% shooting in one game and they shot over 50% in both with considerable advantages in rebounding. The one shot St. Mary's has at getting the upset is shooting the three, but I don't think they can do it with enough consistency to pull the upset. Omar Samhan is the talk of St. Mary's but countless times I have seen him come up short in big situations. I'm just not that impressed with St. Mary's in their ability to play above that level which is set by Gonzaga in the conference.
