The Huskies have been inconsistent all year long and now they are fighting for their tournament lifes.  They have to go 4-0 the rest of the year to get in, or make a run in the Big East Tournament.  They certainly have the talent to do both and they finally get a manageable road game against a very young Villanova team that does not have a Senior on the team and is likely without two of their better players in Wayns and Bell tonight. Nova is shooting just 41.4% on the season and 38.3% in their last 5 games overall while Uconn as always plays excellent defense limiting opponents to 38.2% overall on the year.  Although not as good on the road, Villanova should have plenty of issues getting the ball in the basket tonight with a desperate Uconn team that does have the nation’s hardest schedule thus far.  Their inconsistencies are not a surprise with everything they’ve had to deal with this year.  I expect them to rebound here tonight and look forward to seeing them Saturday against Syracuse.
