5.5** NCAAB POD #bigeast matchup #gtown vs. #cinci 225pm
Don't miss out I'm 6-2 the last three days in college bball and I look to continue in the bigeast today with a guaranteed pick backed by a full in depth analysis!
Gtown -2.5 5.5* pod
Georgetown -2.5 (5.5* MAX POD)
Georgetown has lost 3 in a row now to Cinci and the last one came at home under extraordinary circumstances in the fact that the Hoyas came off an emotional lost 1 day prior to West Virginia. Still they shot 59% from the field to Cincinnati’s 46%. I don’t anticipate either team to shoot as well today, but the other things that happened for Cinci were the extraordinary that won’t happen again.
Cinci was +12 FTA and shot 82%. That won’t happen again this team is 271st in FTA game with 17.7 and when they get there they are 170th with 64.7%. Georgetown on the other hand gets there 21 times a game and shoots 70%.
Cinci was +3 overall rebounding. On the season they are 154th in rebound % with 50.4%, 48.8% in their last 3 while Georgetown is ranked 28th 53.9% and 55.2% in their last 3. Georgetown will also win the rebounding margin.
Cinci was +8 in turnovers forcing 17 which ended up being one of the worst days for the Hoyas. Cinci’s is 5th in least amount of turnovers 10.3/game but Georgetown only turns it over 12.4 for 60th and Cinci’s defense is 98th forcing 13.8 but just 11.7 on the road while Gtown is forcing 12.7. Cinci may win the turnover battle but not by a significant mark.
Cinci’s guards won them the game. Dixon a 37.5% shooter on the year shot 53.3% on 8-15 shooting and Kilpatrick a 42.4% season shooter shot 62.5% on 10-16. Not happening again in my opinion. This Cinci team likes to shoot threes 20/game but Georgetown has the nation’s #1 3point defense at 27.3% and 20% over their last 3. Expect Cinci to shoot worse than 46% overall and for Georgetown to win some of the battles they did not win in their home game vs. cinci. They are on a mission to prove they are better than Cinci and the two Sr’s along with freshmen Otto Porter are starting to move the Hoyas in the right direction.
