The White Sox continue to struggle against lefties this year now they are 29th in OPS with a .599.  Just a week ago they were 26th.  As they have a .192 average while scoring just 2.69 runs per 9 vs. LHP.  Angels are 24th and not much better, but they did just fire their hitting coach and under their new guy they scored 7 runs and had 12 hits.  Most importantly was Albert Pujols hitting a home run.
 
Angels are 9th in ERA during day games while the White Sox are 23rd and I’ll back a more experienced C.J. Wilson, arguably the best lefty starter in the A.L. against a White Sox team that is struggling big time vs. lefties.  Wilson comes at you with 5 different pitches while the rookie Sale has just 3 with 88% of them being a fastball or slider.  It allows the hitters to have a more comfortable approach knowing that.  It also does not help that the Angels are 18-8 in their last 26 home games vs. LH starters.
