5.5* MLB POD W/ 4* @MLB Late Night Fix
Don't miss out on these two big plays going on Wednesday night as I look to build on yesterday's big POD winner with the Braves +126 an easy 11-0 winner. Today I have two absolute crushing games backed by a full in depth analysis.
PIT/CIN U7.5 5.5* MLB POD
Brad Lincoln vs. Johny Cueto and the line that opened up at -178 i sgoing down as low as -170? This just doesn't make sense to me and what it means is oddsmakers are expecting a quality start out of Lincoln who is coming off his first start giving up 6 IP 2 ER at Miami. He also gave up just 2 ER in 5 innings last year to the Reds. The Reds just are not the same vs. RHP 25th in the league while the Pirates are 29th and are completely dominated by Cueto who carries a 1.31 ERA over his last 8 starts vs. the Pirates. Pirates hitters have a .204 average and a .625 OPS against him.
What I like even more is both these teams have remarkable bullpens ranked 1st and 3rd. This game will be played like a 1 run game. Reds are under 7-3-1 in Cueto's last 11 starts and the Pirates are under 17-6-3 in their last 26 following a win.
Angels -153 4* bonus
Jerome Williams has been fantastic at home going 8-0 with a 2.32 ERA in 8 starts and 11 games this year while Hector Noesi has a 7.47 ERA and his on 3 days rest. I don't think there has been another pitcher going on 3 days rest this year, but 68 pitches or not there is warm up, and pitches before innings that all add up and a young pitcher going up against the hot Angels I think he's doomed to give up some runs here today. Angels are 40-14 in their last 54 with Seattle at home and are playing the rubber game here where the Mariners are 19-39 in their last 58 vs. RH starters.
