Early Evening Appetizier 2.5 Dime Under Dog Outright Winner
Earlier in the conference tournaments we gave you Cal Poly +125 as an out right winner. Tonight at 6:30pm we give you another. There will be three games and of course three under dogs that this selection could be on. Don't miss out for Just $8 guaranteed or 1 pick free.
Southern Miss +120 Sportsbook (2.5 Dime Play)
Southern Miss and Houston won knocking off better teams, and now the two dogs meet again. Houston wants revenge for their earlier season loss @ home by two points when Southern Miss held them to their lowest point total of the season at 55 points.
This spells bad news for a Houston team, because they like to get out and score, but Southern Miss was able to limit that holding them to 30% shooting. While they only shot 40% in the 2 point win they also got to the FT line -12 times in that game something that's about to change when Houston is not in their friendly home building. In fact Southern Miss has been aggressive so far in the tournament really just looking like they want to get to the final game. I think they will here. They got to the FT line 15 more times in their last game with aggressive play and I think they have just enough ball handlers to get past Houston's opportunistic defense that leads the Conference in forcing turnovers.
Houston has not faired well on the season allowing opp to shoot 47.2% from the field and -7.2 FTA's. Again I think those two key factors play well for Southern Miss a team wiht the better road record and conference record. The wrong team is favored here and Houston's run and gun offense DOES not translate well over on 0 days rest. Southern Miss is 13-3 ATS in their last 16 as a dog and 16-5 ATS in their last 21 vs. Cusa. Vegas is not giving them respect once again as Houston likely to fall just 7-19 ATS in their last 26 following a SU win. Meaning running and gunning style does not get a lot of wins back to back ATS!
