Rivers is 9-3 vs. Denver while Manning is 1-5 in his last 6 vs. the Chargers, but I actually like this game to be a close game with a lot of points. The line on the total moved down 3 points and I see value on the over because both offenses are in the top 10 in 3rd down conversions while both defenses are in the bottom 10 of 3rd down conversions. That's resulted in red zone offenses for both teams ranked in top half of the league while both of their respective defenses are ranked at hte bottom. Denver is 24th in red zone TD% defense allowed and even worse in their road game 77.78% while the Chargers are 30th allowing 71.43% TD's. When either team gets into the red zone it's sure to result in a TD in my opinion.

I lean towards the Broncos on the side because the Broncos have played one of the most challenging schedules. In fact they are 8th in strength of schedule while the Chargers are 32nd. Yet most of their stats are better than the Chargers. The Broncos also have a strength on defense that could give the the Chargers issues as they are ranked 8th in sack % and the Chargers are one of the most sacked teams ranked 25th in sacks allowed. On the flip side the Chargers have had a tough time ranked 22nd in getting to the QB and the Peyton Manning rarely gets sacked ranked 8th in fewest sack %.
