4.4* NCAAB POD + Early Bird Bonus 57-26 ATS on NCAAB POD's T
Don't miss out on this two play package going tonight starting with the Kansas vs. Michigan game with my POD going in the Duke vs. Michigan State game guaranteed backed by a full in depth analysis and fully documented by a third party .
Duke -2 4.4* NCAAB POD
Duke gives me the most value here today in my opinion as these two great coaches face off against each other. For what it’s worth Coach K is 6-1 vs. Izzo and should win again tonight in my opinion. Michigan State will play a more physical style game vs. Duke’s finesse and offensive skill. I’ve looked at how the two have faired in these type of games and I think Duke has a distinct advantage. The one place Duke does not have an advantage is rebounding which could be a problem which I feel will be a wash as Duke should win the turnover battle as Michigan State is 217th in turning the ball over per possession and 205th in forcing turnovers. Duke meanwhile is 7th in turning the ball over per possession just 13% of their possessions end in a turnover.
Duke is also a rare team ranked top 40 in 2 point and 3 point defense. Michigan State is just 3-6 this year against teams that are very good – decent at both. Ohio State was 70th and 80th in 2 point and 3 point offense and the Spartans went 1-2. Michigan is 31st and 11th and they went 1-1, Indiana is probably the closest to what Duke is ranked 5th and 26th and they went 0-2. Miami was 69th and 50th and they lost to them. The Spartans did beat Kansas by 3 earlier in the year so it’s not out of reach for them to win this game too but I just think Duke is on a mission after losing to Lehigh last year in the first round. Duke has shot the ball even better of late over 55% over their last 3 games and is 7-2 ATS in their last 9 neutral court games while Michigan State is 6-16-1 ATS in their last 23 following a SU win of 20+ points. Duke is also 13-2 vs. teams that have made the tournament this year while Michigan State is just 10-7.
Kansas -125 3* play
Kansas does not win by pressuring you and turning you over like VCU who faced Michigan in their last game. I actually thought that was Michigan’s greatest strength the ability to not turn the ball over where they are #1 in the nation. Michigan has faced cup cakes as far as defense goes in the post season facing off against VCU 267th in 2 point defense, and South Dakota State 256th in 2 point defense. Now they face off against #1 Kansas. Michigan has faced 7 opponents ranked in the top 46 in 2 point defense % and have gone 2-5. Kansas also can defend the perimeter ranking 26th there. Michigan against both Michigan State (ranked 17th) and Wisconsin (ranked 7th) went 1-3 and their only win came by just 1 point.
I really like Kansas as a play here and they have clearly played better this tournament % wise.
