The new look Mariners will face the Angels here today and I love the Angels again despite what happened yesterday as they led the entire game only to lose in the end 11-10. As I mentioned yesterday the Angels were one of the best teams in terms of hitting off LHP a year ago. They beat up Jeff Francis for 4 runs in 4 innings and got off to the lead, but gave it up late. They scored 3 more runs off Damian Moss another lefty. Today they will face another lefty who is young and inexperienced in Luke French. The lefty faced the Angels last year and they are 7-21 off him including Juan Riveras 2-3 with a HR and 3 RBI's. French is a fly ball pitcher he's not the guy that will strike you out he relies on getting you to put the ball in play. The way the Angels are hitting right now I don't think French should be looking forward to this match up.
