Wow, I can't believe the value in this play and hopefully you get this now, because by tomorrow the lines on these will change! Why you may ask, well as of right now 11:30pm on the east coast the Indians are in extra innings with the White Sox, then they got to fly over to Detroit which isn't a far trip, but they have to play a 1:05pm game. This is bad news for the Indians who are struggling early in the season.

I like what I saw from the Tigers in the first series despite being on the wrong side of two of their games. Porcello had a great spring, and really matured through the year last year as he was solid early including a 5-0 May with a 1.50 ERA. He had 4 starts against the Indians last year in which he was 4-0 with a 1.80 ERA giving up 20 hits 6BB and 5 ER in 25 innings pitched. Tigers were 3-1 against the run line in those games. I just can't pass up the value I am seeing here.

Cleveland does sent Huff to the mound who had a 10.97 ERA and was not really solid at any point in the year. The tough part for the Tigers is that they have no at bats vs. Huff, but they should be highly energized playing an early game against KC here today and should be well rested and excited to kick off opening day in their home park. This team hit many times throughout the series against the Royals and I expect them to do the same. They haven't faced a Lefty yet, but note that they are 20-6 in their last 26 home games vs. LH starters since last year.
